Annual Great Pumpkin Festival
Saturday, October 15th, 2011

The Boothe Park Commission and the Town of Stratford are hosting the annual Great Pumpkin Festival on Saturday, October 15th, featuring the Great Pumpkin Carving contest! Watch as carvers sculpt 100 lb. pumpkins into works of art for cash prizes.

The festival will be held from 1:00 - 5:00 pm and is a wonderful family-oriented event. It will include a children's costume parade (3:00 sharp) with prizes, DJ music, games, crafts, face painting, refreshments, blacksmith demonstrations, 2 Moonbounces, horse-drawn hayrides, and showcase the various historic buildings at the park, including tours of the Model Train Museum and Observatory. Bunnell High School STAGE theater group will perform skits and costumed actors from the Players at Putney Gardens will be strolling the grounds.
